So you might be saying, but Jennifer there are more than 18 Disney Resorts. And you would be correct! But in order to make this challenge one that could be completed by non-Florida residents in one year, we came up with a few ground rules.
All resorts need to have a standard room category option.
All resorts must be either considered value, moderate, or deluxe.
Resorts may have a DVC option on property but can’t be strictly DVC. This knocks out places like Old Key West and Saratoga Springs. We are sticking with just Disney resort rooms and will look at exploring DVC properties during a different challenge.
Resorts must have a room only booking option. This will take away the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. And even though we plan to stay there in the future, we don’t feel as though it would be fair for it to be a part of this challenge.
