How to Find It: Head to Tomorrowland and look for the futuristic blue track above. The entrance is near the Astro Orbiter.

How to Find It: Located in Tomorrowland, close to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

How to Find It: Located in Liberty Square, board the large paddlewheel boat.

Description: Enjoy a leisurely 17-minute cruise around the Rivers of America. The upper deck offers shade and a peaceful atmosphere.

Plus, if you are in the back of the theme park and need to get back to the front, this is the most relaxing way to do it!

  • The Morocco Pavilion

How to Find It: It is located in the World Showcase between France and Japan. Head back into the pavilion, and you will find many quiet, little tucked-away spots.

Description: The winding pathways and quiet courtyards of the Morocco Pavilion offer a serene retreat from the crowds. It's a peaceful spot perfect for a break or even a quick stroller nap.


A/C Resting Spots

  • The American Adventure Pavilion

How to Find It: Located in the World Showcase, between Japan and Italy.

Description: This 30-minute show is both educational and a great place to

cool off. The spacious theater provides a comfortable break.

  • Spaceship Earth

How to Find It: Right inside the main entrance of Epcot, within the iconic geodesic sphere.

Description: This slow-moving ride takes you through the history of communication. The ride lasts about 15 minutes, offering a cool, dark environment.

  • The Aquarium After the Nemo Ride

How to Find It: Located in The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion.

Description: After the ride, explore the extensive aquarium exhibits. It’s cool, relaxing, and filled with fascinating marine life. There are benches where you can sit and watch the sea creatures.

  • Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival

How to Find It: Located in the Imagination Pavilion, near Journey Into Imagination with Figment.

Description: This 18-minute show features beloved Pixar shorts in a comfortable, air-conditioned theater. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy some classic animation.

Description: This beautiful, quiet garden is a peaceful spot to sit and relax. The flowers and landscaping provide a serene environment.

The only thing about this section is that there isn't a lot of wind flow during the summer. Several of the A/C options are also very quiet, so you may want to consider them if you are coming in the middle of summer.

Description: This walk-through exhibit features air conditioning and plenty of seating. Learn about Disney's history and watch a short film.

Description: Enjoy a hilarious 15-minute 3D show in a cool theater. It’s a great place to rest and laugh.

  • Star Wars Launch Bay

How to Find It: In the Animation Courtyard, near Walt Disney Presents.

Description: This large indoor building houses tons of Star Wars memorabilia from the movies and three character meets (typically Darth Vader, Chewbacca, & BB8), and many times photo pass photographers. It's a perfect place to relax, sit on the carpeted floor in the A/C, or even pass the time during an afternoon rain storm.

  • Mickey Shorts Theater

How to Find It: Near the entrance to the park, next to the Hyperion Theater.

Description: Enjoy a charming Mickey Mouse short film in a cool, air-conditioned theater. The movie changes seasonally. It's a fun and relaxing place to take a break.

Description: This 25-minute show is a delightful escape into the world of Nemo, with air conditioning and comfortable seating. It is one of my all-time favorite shows at the theme parks, and the A/C is normally pumping, which is even better!

Description: Explore the trails around the Tree of Life. There are plenty of quiet nooks and benches to take a breather.
